Shots, frostbite, traces of a noose - what Jackson did not survive
This dog was brought to the clinic on Christmas day for euthanasia. His nose, hind legs, tail and part of his ears were frostbitten. Multiple bullet wounds pierced his body. It seemed that in this state there was no place for life. But the clinic’s doctor, Veronika Aleksandrovna, decided to leave a dog that had suffered from human cruelty and indifference. Jackson - that was the name of the dog - put his head in the hands of the savior, which finally strengthened her belief that the dog would get a second life.
After multiple examinations, it was found that through the fault of a person, Jackson froze his limbs, lost his hind legs, tail and part of his ears. 35 gun pellets were found in the body. On the paws were traces of holding a noose.
A volunteer monitored Jackson's success at the clinic. The dog slowly learned to move. Doctors spoke out positively about the prospects for dog recovery: the nose will grow over, the wounds will heal. The attending physician taught him the teams. Jackson feels all the love with which he is taken care of in the clinic. And, probably, that's why the dog is making great strides.
Many doctors discussed the restoration of self-movement. In order for Jackson to be able to run and frolic, he needs to install implants in his hind legs, and they have prostheses on them. Novosibirsk doctor proposed his own version of implantation. The operation is unique, single in Russia, so the chance of a positive outcome is 50%.For one who wants to live, this is an impressive number.
In May, the dog flies for surgery in Novosibirsk. And there will be rehabilitation for two weeks.
How many more such Jacksons look with devoted eyes at the world in which so much cruelty surrounds them?
