How to care for a shorthair dog at home?
Shorthair dogs are dogs with an undercoat (its development depends on the conditions of detention) and a hair length of 2 to 4 centimeters. These include pugs, Thai ridgebacks, sharpei, rottweiler, beagle and others. Shorthair care has its own specifics.
Some of the short-haired dogs (for example, beige pugs) molt all year round, which can create additional difficulties for owners.
If you just have a pet, I recommend washing it once a month using any moisturizing dog shampoo. You can also use air conditioning or “2 in 1”, but not necessarily.
After washing, thoroughly wipe the pet with a microfiber towel and release so that it is completely dry.
If possible, the dog should be combed, since when combing the skin “works”, the coat resumes and always looks good: smooth, clean, shiny.
If you have a show dog and in the near future there will be a performance in the ring, most likely you can not do without the help of a groomer who, with the help of scissors and special cosmetics, can "draw" your four-legged friend in the best possible way.
